Bio:
Dana’s artistic odyssey began at the Riga Technical School of Art and Media (RMMT) in Latvia, where her love for art was first nurtured. Little did she know, her journey would later take her across seas to Ireland, where she took a deep dive into the world of painting, honing her craft through countless courses and workshops. And let’s not forget the wisdom passed down from well-known artists who, knowingly or unknowingly, helped fine-tune her painterly prowess. When she’s not exhibiting, Dana is busy spreading her art across the globe. Her work has found homes in private collections in Ireland, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, UK, Latvia, and the USA. Her artistic preference? Oil alla prima with a palette knife—because why let brushes have all the fun? Her favorite subjects—flowers, old Volkswagen Beetles, and glass—are an eclectic trio that somehow just works, much like Dana herself. So whether you’re drawn to her vibrant florals, nostalgic Beetles, or reflective glass paintings, Dana’s art is guaranteed to bring a bit of charm, color, and joy into your life. She’s not just an artist—she’s a storyteller, a dreamer, and a true citizen of the world… armed with a palette knife.
