    Bio:
Jacinta, a native of Limerick, combines a passion for caring and creativity in her painting work.Jacinta has almost 40 years healthcare and also holistic therapy experience as a certified clinical Reflexologist and energy healing therapist. This artist expresses and channels the compassion, emotions and resilience gained from nursing and the caring profession into the painting works she creates, and understands the importance of balancing work and self-care. Walking in nature, working in the garden and the joy of singing as well as family and friends are a source of inspiration. The artist’s paintings are infused with vibrant colour and healing, connecting the viewer into a sense of oneness with the art displayed. The artist uses a contemplative meditative style to convey emotions and draws on Jungian symbolism, travel and inner journeys to achieve balance. The theme of this piece is ‘Spring Hope’ signifying and celebrating new life in all its forms. I am delighted to contribute my painting to this mosaic, enhancing the hospital environment for this ‘Handled with Care’ project. Jacinta has exhibited nationally and internationally and her work is on display in local hospitals, in addition to private collections in Ireland and Europe. The artist’s holistic healing centre “A Gift of Healing,” in Cloughjordan, Co. Tipperary, combines her creativity and healing practices.
